Fill a litre bottle of water and take it around with you and say to yourself that you will drink this by x time. Then fill it up again and make sure to drink it by end of the evening. That way, you will get the recommended 2 litres of water a day. I do it at work by leaving a big 2 litre bottle next to my computer and make sure its empty by the end of the day. You will get used to it and after a few weeks, your body will tune itself to needing water even though you are not thirsty.

I agree with everyone. I dont drink enough sometimes because i dont get thirsty and can get terrible stomach pains and dehydration. I always keep a bottle of water with me, even drinking from it as I type this! I know that if i dont I will get dehydrated and could get a urinary infection which is painfull and irritating!
Even though I dont feel thirsty I will try to have a few swiggs of water every 10 mins. I keep my bottle infront of me wherever I go so i can see it as a constant reminder!
Hope this helps

The first thing I do when I get to work is fill a two litre bottle off water and put it on my desk with a glass, then I sip the water, and fill up the glass every time it is empty. You can also gauge if you are having a good or bad day drinking water by how much has gone from the 2 litre bottle (half should have gone by lunch).

Try putting lemon in your water so it tastes better. Also, try the Fruit Water by the makers of Vitamin Water. It tastes slightly like fruit so it is a little more tolerable then water and it is only 60 calories per bottle.
If you are drinking liquids throughout the day then you should be OK -- you don't necessarly need water. Just liquids. Try drinking iced tea or iced green tea.

what i do at work is in the morning i fill a 2 litre bottle with water and make sure that i drink it all by the time i go home at the end of the day. this would work at home too - leave the bottle in the kitchen or somewhere you will see it often and have a drink whenever you pass.

You should try real hard to drink water because it is very good for your health is helps losing weight quicker and also helps in other things which now I don't remember. Recently i heard that in the U.S people drink very little water and more drinks like Cola i
hope that this isn't true.

Have a packet of saltine crackers in your bag along with a big bottle of water. Every time you're hungry, have a nibble, and then wash it down with water. Get used to getting the saltiness out of your body with water. Also, make sure you drink the water WITH it, otherwise this is even worse for you.

Every time I think I fancy a biscuit/chocolate (which is about 100 times a day) I have a drink of water instead! Keeps me away from the munchables and helps keep me hydrated too!
