My military heroes would have to be my grandfather for one he serve in WWI and then Robert E. Lee. I'm actually from a "UNION" state but Lee is a military hero of mine because he was simply a genious at tactics. He was outnumbered in nearly every battle yet most of those battles he and his men routed the Union. If Lee had been with the Union Army things wouldve been very different in the Civil War.

First of all, is name is Audie Leon Murphy, not Eudie. You should learn to spell your hero's name.
Second of all, he was a glorified soldier. I'm not saying he was a bad soldier, he was a great soldier. But the Army needed a "poster boy" and Audie fit the bill.
Who is MY military hero? Both of my uncles. They were both infantry in Vietnam. Both survived, both were strong, no PTSD, no complaints, they did their jobs and came home safe.

Mine is John F. Kennedy.
In the earlier morning hours of August 2nd 1943, the patrol boat PT109 was sunk after being rammed by the Japanese Destroyer Amagiri, in Blackett Strait near Ferguson Passage. The Captain, Lt. John F. Kennedy, an ex Harvard swimmer spent the next 30 hours supporting and towing his 10 surviving crew members to a temporary shelter known today as Kennedy Island. In addition to the swim after the collision, Kennedy staged a daring rescue attempt, swimming first to Naru Island and then to Olasana Island in search of help and a better source of food for his men. His swim of approximately 4 kilometres, through waters patrolled by enemy ships, has long been recognised as a feat of tremendous courage and bravery. http://www.pt109swim.com/
He even towed one man, Mack, the Irishman, to safety while swimming through dangerous waters, by his teeth.

There are too many to list here. Any living recipient of the Medal of Honor is a living hero and those who died in the service of their nation are the true heroes. All those who served gave some...some gave all.

SFC. Michael Hassenfelt, otherwise know as my husband even after tours to Iraq and countless nights away from home he amazes me with his strenght of character and honor. He shows his soldiers the same care and support he shows our children. I cant even began to explain how proud i am to be his wife. So since you asked who our personal hero is , then he will always be my hero.

My military hero is my husband. I know...corny...but he really is my hero.
He's been to the gulf war and now he is on his 4 tour in Iraq. He can still make me feel safe and loved all the way from Iraq.
He leaves his family to serve our country.
All of our service members are hero's!
