You need to step up the workouts, get on the tradmill and walk/jog/run for 30-60 minutes on top of your work out. You'd benefit from the treadmill TWICE a day every day if you want to drop the lbs.
What you consider healthy might not be low enough in fat and calories to get the pounds off. When I wan to lose fast I eat a protein bar (w/ 20 grams of protein) for breakfast, apple for a snack, romaine with 1/2 grilled chicken breast drizzled in balsamic vinegar for lunch, 2 cups of steamed broccoli and the other 1/2 of that chicken breast for dinner. I drink water all day, no diet drinks, just water. Take your vitamins, eat your Fiber Sure chewables with protein so you stay full feeling longer.
Restricting fat & calories plus the additional time of the treadmill, you WILL drop pounds quickly. You can do it!

You do weight training, so stop looking at a scale, you should be more looking at inches that you loose, so that's where you're going wrong. When I used to weight train, I had a small, compact frame - 5'4" in size 3-5 jeans, lean muscle but my weight was a jaw-dropping 135 (people thought I was around 110) and I used to wonder how to drop weight. Now 3yrs later, I don't get around to the gym at all and I feel flabby, still in size 3-5 jeans, but no real muscle and I weigh 117. I can definitely attest that muscle weighs more than flab. So start measuring instead of weighing. The scale might not be moving back, but I'm sure your belt placement is. Keep the motivation up & just keep it up for how it makes you feel.

ok you sound about the right weight for your height. If you have been working out then you have probably gained in muscle mass, this will weigh heavier than fat. Many of the fittest atheletes are considered obese on the bmi scale. Keep doing what you are doing and you will soon notice the difference in the mirror. Don't worry too much ok.

Did you cut your calories besides? You should take in 1200 - 1500 calories a day when on a diet. Also, you may not have lost weight but probably lost inches. If you are doing weights you are building muscle which weighs more then fat. Good Luck!

Muscle weighs more than fat! To get fat off your body make sure you are doing enough cardio. You probably have wonderful six pack abs but need to have fat loss jump started.
Continue working hard and eating right and I'm sure you will see a marked improvement in no time!

A doctor told me that recent research shows that you need to work out an average of an hour and a half a day to lose. Also you need to make sure that you are eating about 1200 calories a day in order to lose. If you do both of these things you are going to lose baby!

ive been working out for about a year, and it took me that long to lose 25 lbs. i go to the gym 4-5 times a week, for about 1 1/2 hours, with 30-60 mins of cardio and the rest weight training. so keep at it, you will lose it eventually

Well, the weights can be an issue. You are building muscle mass which in and of itself is heavy, you maybe losing fat but you are gaining muscle to replace it. Concentrate on a vascular workout for awhile and eat low carb foods.

It is probably that you have a low metabolic rate. If you exercise about 30 every 5 hours, your metabolic rate should go up and you will burn more energy. Also remember to avoid fatty and sweet foods and drink a lot of water.
