Yes. It means "Crown of Roses".
And what does the Bible have to do with it? Plenty!
The Rosary concentrates meditation of the chief mysteries of the life, death and glory of Jesus Christ and of His Blessed Mother they are: Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious.
Joyful: is about the Annunciation, The Visitation, the Nativity, the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple, the Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple.
Sorrowful: The Agony in the Garden, The Scourging at the Pillar, the Crowning with Thorns, the Carrying of the Cross,
The Crucifixion.
And Glorious Mysteries: the Resurrection, The Ascension, The Descent of the Holy Spirit, The Assumption of Mary, The Coronation of Blessed Virgin Mary.
Some Catholics say what is called the Luminous Mysteries. It is a suggested addtion by Pope John Paul II, but is not required.
Luminous: The Baptism of Jesus, The Wedding at Cana, Jesus' Proclamation of the Kingdom of God, The Transfiguration, The Institution of the Eucharist.

I've heard of Rosary beads-a Catholic necklace of beads used for prayer of some sort.
There was Rosemary's baby but that was some Hollywood horror movie about a woman who was impregnated by Satan.
But not a person named Rosary.

Catholics pray the rosary. All the prayers there are from the Bible. In an apparition the Blessed Mother also told us to pray the rosary.
Peace!

Yes I have heard of the Rosary. I think it is a wonderfully tool to keep track of your prayers, and (if you belive in it) a very powerful sacramental for Marian intercession. Whether or not its Biblical is irrelevant. Microphones, for example, arn't in the Bible, but they are used by Christians to spread God's Kingdom on Earth too.
