If you have a Walmart near you, they sometimes have good turkey calls. My turkey call is a box that when you squeak the two pieces together, it makes the call. I dont' know if there are any tom calls, but maybe you could see. Honestly though I call and the sound of my voice has made them answer before. Its like a "buck buck buck" noice, like a chicken only more high pitched. Maybe you can try it on a turkey! Good luck and happy hunting!

I use them all but a good call that is easy to use is the Slate and Striker. Very easy to make the turkey sounds.

Learn to use a good quality box call. Its the easiest and most versatile. Then move on to a slate call. Then if your really wanting do you can move onto mouths calls.

Don't use "Gobbler Calls" they will get you shot.
