Sometimes this is common with body builders and other athletes. If other serious causes have been ruled out then this is a possibility. The ammonia smell can come from a excessive amount of amino acids being used for energy and/or not enough water. A way to help that is to stay hydrated all the time especially if you are working out. Eat a balanced meal of lean protein and whole unprocessed carbs beforehand and increase carbs through the day. Hope this helps. And remember, don't get dehydrated.

you may have a problem not excreting enough waist and it could become toxic go to the Er they can run a blood test to see if you have ammonia in your body . I dint know what its called but there is a condition where your natural eliminating or kidneys don't work right and it stays in your body and can poison you . get evaluated by a doc asap OK?
