racoons are one of the more larger carryers of rabies i would go to the hospital and report the animal so it can be nutralized as to prevent it from attacking again ( this is important to follow these steps)

Definitely yes. It is better to seek medical help for any kind of bites specially from animals that have teeth...they can have rabies. I hope you've washed your woundbite with clean water and soap.Go to the doctor and ask for help. Goodluck.

or the Animal Shelter.

They will advise you.
