when a girl has a low income job that isn't an important one but she works hard at it and you really like her...is it a big deal to you that she isn't in a special line of work? does it keep you from asking her out? I have a good job but it doesn't give me many hrs at all so i might just get a little job as a cashier to make extra $ but my brother says it will wreck my reputation...and i will be made fun of...true?

If a guy likes you, he'll like you for who you are, not what your job is. And I would think the fact that your a hard worker doing what it takes would be an attractive thing to a man. It means your more than willing to pull your own weight.

how about this.
my last girlfriend got into a bad car accident (broke her leg, her arm and fractured her neck)..
she wasn't really working prior to it either she was doing something like you. i payed her medical bills, got her a new car and took car of her by myself. every little thing from 4 kinds of juice at the store at 2am, to sponge baths. it doesn't matter how much you make but how they feel about you.
i was atracted to her because her not what she was doing to get money in her pocket. guys like girls with a lot of money so we can spend your money and not ours. but if you want some extra money go for it i wouldn't say i'm not attracted to you b/c you're broke.
dont' let your brother influence you like that he should be boosting your self esteem not bring it down.
