Where diesel driven buses are used it has been shown that if each passenger on a full bus actually used a modern petrol driven car there would be less pollution!!!!

Keep people from driving into cities and business breaks down - business breaks down - so does the food chain - employment - etc. etc.

You may like the idea of going back to living in a cave round a camp fire - very few thinking people would chose to share the experience!!

When surveyed, health and life expectancy are both higher in cities than in rural areas within the same economic boundaries, and are vastly higher than in rural economies.

This is because access to good healthcare is costly and is most effetcively delivered in cities, along with many other benefits. This vastly outweighs the very minor disadvantage of pollution.

This does not justify polluting, but it does mean you are backing the wrong bandwagon.

we should be concern to the use of vehicles as they create a lot of pollution(air, noise)this pollution is very harmful to our health and as well as for environment.CNG is a step to reduce pollution but it is not distributed properly.govt.should make efforts to introduce non-polluting materials and made awraeness in people towards their use.

I have lived in cities all my life, and my health is fine. I will almost certainly live longer than my father did, and he lived longer than his father (who lived in the country). So, it is obvious, that living in a polluted city increases your life span. Go figure.
