Ick! I don't want to see them on the old or young! We call them airplane skirts-one wrong move and your cockpit is showing! I think I just threw up!

I suppose one would have to define the word "old". Women today unfortunately are driven to make themselves appear younger because of the all too consuming preoccupation with the idea that the appearance of youth assumes health and vitality, and therefore a person is more accepted by said society.
Unfortunately, surgeries and cosmetics etc., only serve to create an illusion that is not supported by the internal workings of the human body. The organs still age, and will continue to do so until death. Although some will make an attractive corpse.
Men and women both should always dress in an age appropriate manner. One can still dress attractively without coming across as either too young or too old.
People need to learn the value of aging gracefully, as this will serve as a good example to the young people who will be there all too soon.
We should make the best effort to be as healthy, attractive and at our best as we can at any given age. We live in a very knowledgeable society with regard to health and nutrition coupled with exercise.
We do not have to be the 50 somethings of yesterday when it looked more like 75. Be the best at whatever age you are now.

I think your lady neighbor is trying desperately to hold onto her former hotness! Perhaps she doing something right she's got you so bothered that you came on here to ask questions about her and you say she has lots of lovers. Do you fancy a chance within the chins?
Yes, I have coworker who is well over 50. While she is thin and in good shape she looks OLD from up close and from a distance. She has that older woman posture/ stiff movement type look. greying hair and old teeth/smile.
She wears teen age clothing and sneakers everyday. She often wears tiny shirts with cartoony sayings written on them and hoodies.
She looks like a old fool.... All the men sadly laugh at her. She thinks she looks hot and has told me more than once that all the ladies in the shop are jealous of her. Mind you we are all in our 20-30's.

I think it's tarty. I'm 47, but look about 40, and wouldn't dream of wearing a miniskirt. Too much flesh on show, over the age of about 30, is slaggy-looking

i think we should all take the lesson from stacey and clinton on "what not to wear" no mini skirts after the age of 35. there is fashion rules for a reason and after 35 in some cases gravity starts to pull towards the ground. if you got it flaunt it but if you look like mrs pillsbury doughboy its time to give it up. i knew a lady, actually one of my bosses dressed like a skank and finally a few of us girls invited her out shopping and when she went for a mini skirt we suggested other things. i think she got the hint cause she dresses much better now.

i think that there is some that can wear the very short skirts and some that unfortunately shouldn't wear them , but in todays society most wear them anyway, even with big blobs of "blubber" sticking out everywhere, ewwwwwwww some people might like it but believe me most of us "sane" ones don't so to all you women out there that do wear these and know they shouldn't , then don't do us a favor give your short skirts away to goodwill or to your granddaughters or daughters.

Obviously it upsets you to some extent.
How you can tell how many lovers she has had is a bit of a mystery to me, someones reputation doesn't lead to knowledge.
If she is not doing anyone any harm, or forcing people to make love to her, then as far as I am concerned she is just another human being going about her business.
Don't judge people by their appearance.

No thank god I don't know anyone like this. I don't think short skirts should be seen on old ladies, it hurts the eyes too much.

I can see you have too much time to comment about other people's way to dress. I believe the woman you mentioned, she must have like it and felt good about herself, that is the main thing. Sometimes we should keep the comment to ourselves, although we do not agree the way other dress up. There are more other important things in life to think about.
