That is pretty much impossible. Even if you starved yourself you'd still have to do cardio to burn fat. And of course without eating you wouldn't have the energy to workout. Sorry.

Since 1 lb is about the equivalent of 3500 calories, you will need to do without 35,000 calories. If your average intake per is say around 2000 calories, and you quit putting anything in your mouth, you only have 21,000 to go. Bicycling at about 17-20 mph, you could burn 900 cal per hour, so ride like that for about 23 hours or 3 1/2 hours a day while fasting. By day 2, you will probably pass out.

Healthy weight loss is at 1 -2 lbs per week. 10 lbs is not only a very unrealistic goal for 1 week but also unhealthy. Unless you're willing to give up the healthy part, I'd look into more conventional weight loss methods.

If you want to lose weight, give yourself a realistic number. 10 pounds a week is terrible. I lost 3 pounds one week, by cutting down on the snacks, and junk food. Eat healthy! Excersice everyday. Like go running, sit-ups, and stretch. Drink a lot of water! But whatever you do, DO NOT go on a crash diet. You can lose weight the right way, and look great!

There are crash diets. Cabbage soup diet(found online), the celebrity diet(juice found at Walgreens) You will lose only water weight on those. If you eat very little calories, like 100 day, and do cardio exercise everyday you will lose the 10 lbs. I was depressed because of a break-up, I could only eat a rice cake a day. I tried to kill myself at the gym( two times/day) I lost 50 lbs in a month and one week. People are going to tell you 'the safe way' to lose it, but it will take you much longer. I know when you are fat, you don't want to hear that BS! No one will give you a diet plan that will let you lose more than 2 lbs per/week unless you go to a diet center. So, it depends on what you want. If you don't eat right after the crash diet, the weight will come back. Your choice, depends on how bad you want it off and how fast.

One of the best ways to do this would be by using a cleansing system. You will lsoe water weight as well as built up fecal matter in the colon which causes bloating. The quickest, healthiest and to me the easiest would be to use Dr Stanley Burroughs Master Cleanse. If you run a google search you will find a plethora of sites and information on the cleanse and how to do it. I suggest you buy the book as it tell you EXACTLY how and what to do to be successful. I lost 20 pounds in 10 days and did not put the weight back on...good luck.

Try losing 10 lbs in TWO weeks instead of one. Unless you have like an event next week.
I'd just do an extreme caloric intake, about 500-1000 cals a day.
You will definantly lose weight fast if you cut out these.
NO SUGAR
NO BREAD (If need be only eat whole grain!, none of that fake mushy stuff)
NO PASTA (omg pasta is soooo bad for dieting)
NO SAUCES (like mustard, mayo, ketchup)
NO PEANUT BUTTER

I'm sure you will lose weight quickly if you do major caloric deficit intake and only eat fruits, veggies and some chicken. But you will not be able to keep this weight off if you go back to your normal eating! So I would try a healthier diet instead of this one...

I'm a nutritionist, and I can assure u there is no way to lose 10 lbs in one week unless you are extremely ill or lacking in nutrition. DO NOT attempt this. 2-3 lbs a week is the maximum you should lose to remain healthy. If you did lose 10 lbs in one week, you would experience fatigue, chronic aches and pain and a weekend immune system and whatever event you are looking to lose this weight for would end up being a miserable experience.

There is the sacred heart diet but the results are only temporary. Of course the only way to lose weight and keep it off is to eat sensibly and exercise.
