Your mother is standing up for what she believes in which is difficult to do and I admire her. Your mother is probably very torn that she is not going to be at her daughter's wedding (every mother wants to be there for their daughter at such a special time). But your mother believes so strongly that this relationship is not good for your sister your mother won't be a hypocrite and attend the wedding (attending the wedding would be that she supports the marriage). I wish your sister the best of luck and may God be with her in this marriage. Good luck to you and your mom also, and may God Bless you all.

It is unclear exactly what your question is but presumably you want to know what to do? Not supporting it does not sound like it is going to work in this situation. I think the best thing would be to try and stall the wedding because it would have a better chance of breaking up. If what you are saying is true the guy really is not good and it is just a matter of time until your sister figures this out. Be warned though that it could be a very long time before your sister figures out this guy is not right.

I think you are asking what should you do? Well maybe suggest to your sister that she postpone the wedding or set it at a later date. If all this is true as you say, that he is not a good person, it would take her some time to realize that he is no good. She has to come to the decision on her own.
I think it is great that you are so worried about your sister. I wish my own siblings thought of me like that.
Either way good luck with whatever happens and have a great day.

This is a classic case of Mother Knows Best. You haven't given one reason, in the bf's defense, why your sister should marry a cheater, who treats her poorly, uses her, and disrespects her family. Hello?? Would anyone want this guy for a son in law? Who would even want him for a friend? Is your sister mentally challenged? Why else would she settle for someone with nothing to offer? This is a serious answer; please try to make her see the light.

They say moms knows best, and if he treats her like the way he does, your sister should open her eyes and see reality before it hits her, you cant really give advice to her if she wont take it, evidently she is blinded by this man, so shes going to do it regarless of whatever u tell her...
so hopefully she realizes this before its too late tell your mom not to get discourage and try to talk to her out of it !

Your sister needs to listen to her Mom. Once married the situation for her will become far worse than the hell she is already in.

Rent a U-Haul van. Duck tape your mom up. Throw her in the U-Haul Van, and hall her to the wedding. Drug her with Morphene. Take off the Duck Tape, Dress her up quickly. And put her in the chair at the front of the church. :D
