I mean I actually want to find him... not just believe I found him but have actual evidence of his being and divinity.

Try looking under your couch cushion. You know, where you find spare change.

Don't read the Bible. Don't go to church. If right now you really don't believe in Jesus, those things might be nothing more than a diversion for you. However, if you want to find Him, confess to Him that you are a sinner (we all are, don't think you're not) and you want Him to come into your heart and reveal Himself to you, and ask Him to save you.

If you want a good book on all this, check out Josh McDowell's "Evidence That Demands A Verdict." He started out to disprove the existence of Jesus, and through his research ended up believing He existed and wrote the book. Good luck!

Pray and tell God that you're seeking Him and that you want to know Him for who He really is. Ask Him to come into your heart and accept him... you have to be open to receive Him.

Read the bible and learn about Christ and who He is and what He has done for you... you will gain a greater appreciation for Him, if you are sincere in seeking Him. The gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), will teach you these thing.

Repent your sins to Jesus Christ, ask for forgiveness, because ONLY through Him can you be forgiven.

Learn what Christ expects from you and make conscious efforts to live as He has instructed you!

God Bless!

Just keep searching; the fulfullment is in the search, not in the finding. In the case of Jesus, I invoke the words behind Fox Mulder: "I Want to Believe." But that goes for everything I encounter, not just Jesus...

Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Acknowledge that your spirit is dead and separated from God. When you know Jesus Christ your spirit will be made alive by the Holy Spirit and you will know and experience that Jesus is real.

You don't get to just go up and meet him. First, you need to search for him, then you begin to know him, and at some point, you begin to return his love.

Then, and probably only then, will you truly know God ... at least as well as one can, in this life.

Catholics experience Jesus sacramentally, on a daily basis, which is an extraordinary gift and privilege of the Almighty.

So, if you really need to see Jesus in this life, then Catholicism is the only choice for you.

As complicated as people make it out to be..it's not complicated at all. Jesus is always there where you are. He actually is the one waiting on you. To 'find' Jesus it just look around you. Your next breath comes from Him. Contrary to what the world would like people to believe. It says so in the Bible. To believe is all it takes. It's a free Gift. All we have to do is claim it as our own. To just confess with our mouth that we don't have what it takes to be right before a Holy God. Jesus says that the wages--the penalty--for sin is death, but not to worry, He paid it for us. All that we need to do is claim the free Gift of Eternal Life offered by Jesus for what He did on the Cross. He was a sinless man, born of a virgin--according to the Scriptures, died, and arose again in 3 days, again according to the Scriptures. Just tell Him that you want Him to come into your life, to save you, that you can't do it. Ask Him to forgive you for the sins of your life & that you want to live for Him. It's that simple. It really is just as Jesus said Himself...you have to come to Him like a child. Children have complete faith in their parents to take care of whatever they need, no matter what it is. Children also go on to learn from their parents on how to live. That's what the rest of the Bible is there for, to show you how Jesus would like you to live. I've been a Christian for 33yrs and would not trade it for anything. Life is full of up's and down's. To go through what I've been through without Jesus in it...I'd have given up and probably would have been dead a dozen times over. He gives me the Hope to get through each day. He loves me when life makes it appear that nobody else does. He forgives me when I mess up, and lets me start new when I ask Him to forgive me. Look at what you see in nature. You see His handywork everywhere. Don't confuse what you see in life with what mankind has done to nature. God is everywhere. If you want to know even more than this...you or anyone...please email me.

Go to a Catholic Church. Approach a Catholic priest. Tell him you need help to get baptized and that you want to become a Christian. Then do as he tells you. Maybe you have to attend some religion classes or RCIA or Catholic Doctrine classes or some studies about the bible and the Catechism. Attend mass. Get somebody to help you get baptized as a Catholic. Then get confirmed and receive your first holy Communion. Then attend Mass every Sunday. Ask Jesus to help you find the real church. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Ask Him for help when you have problems. Go to Mary as your mother. Ask her help to show you her Son. She is the fastest way to Jesus. She is the Queen of heaven and earth. Ask your guardian angel to help you discover Who Jesus really is. Talk to Jesus everyday when you have time. Talk to Him in your heart. He lives there. He is waiting to talk to you. He is waiting to be your best Friend. He is the best Friend you will ever have. He died to bring you to heaven. Welcome to the family of God. God bless you and keep you safe.

Read the gospels, or find someone who can sit down with you and talk to you about them and Him. If you want physical evidence, you probably won't find it. It's called faith for a reason. But He's promised us that if we seek Him we will find Him.

Reading the bible and praying to him is a great start. Miracles happen everyday, you just have to open your eyes to see them.
Getting involved in a church and taking to a pastor or minister is also a great way to get started.
When you take the steps and believe you will see and feel his presence in the world around you.

Suspend rational thought. Surrender your will, ignore physical/scientific evidence, shut your eyes and let a preacher guide you to the promised land.
