do your parents or siblings have / had the same problems when they were around your age? if it is so then it should be the genes. first you have to know where it came from then you will know how to treat it right. i had terrible skin when i was 13 too..for about 2 years and it was all gone by itself. all i did was wash my face regularly everyday so keep it clean. thats the start.

Firstly go to the CACI clinic for a free consultation. They will suggest one of two things – either an Acnelux course or microdermabrasion. The Acnelux is a blue-light therapy that targets the bacteria that causes acne and stimulates the immune system to assist with the healing process – it’s not a laser and it’s not painful – believe me, I’ve had it and I’m the biggest wimp there is! You lie under a lamp, which produces no UVA or UVB rays. But be warned after the eight sessions required (you must have two per week for a month) your skin may get temporarily worse, eight weeks after your final treatment is when the skin will have shown a real marked improvement.. For non-flaring acne microdermabrasion may be the answer, this is slightly more uncomfortable, but it’s also excellent for dealing with scarring. You can expect to pay about per treatment. If you haven’t already visited a dermatologist this would be you best bet if these don’t work for you. Regarding nutrition you may like to try taking Vitamin B6 and Zinc, and try to stay away from refined carbs, which can cause blood sugar to rise rapidly, leading to the release of insulin and following on to increase inflammation in the body, which may result in acne.

I'd use a good mask, a good exfoliant and a few times a week I'd put a warm clean wash cloth in the mirco heat, and apply to face to pull dirt from your face.
I used the Clinique regime in my 20's (early 30's) and now use The Nutrimin c re9 regime from Arbonne. I have so so skin but it's officially glowing now - and the skin turn over is so fresh.
They also make an acne line or an acne supplement -
that helps fight acne -
Try exfoliating twice a week and a mask once a week -
and pulling out the dirt with the heated wash cloth.

I had flaring acne from a very young age, nobody could help, doctors, dermatologists, homeopatic treatments, conventional treatments... eventually (after like 15 years) it went away but I don't want anybody to wait that long, I have suffered enough. One of the main things that work for me nowadays (I still have the occasional outbreak) is that I check my eating habits. I am allergic to MSG (widely used in food presentations and often hidden as 'flavour enhancer') and maybe to some other stuff, I don't know but if I eat a healthy diet (a lot of home cooking with little oil, little salt - but lots of chillies, seems not to affect me), enough fruit and drink lots of water I don't have problems. I also try to get every night enough sleep and don't have too much stress in my life, and don't use overly medicated/parfumed soaps... So in your case I would also recommend that you look first into your present eating habits. It might already improve when you stay away from hamburgers and other fast food, eat some fruit instead, don't drink coke (and other canned drinks) or coffe but green tea and water instead.

OK check out a product called clear.now, this really helped my younger brother that was having the same problem. he also used a few products by a company called artistry the poor cleansing masque that helps to pull all of the dirt oil and "yucky stuff" out of the sub continual layers of skin so it will not only help to clear up your skin now but it will also help to curb future break outs. and he used a product called blemish control. his face is sooo much clearer you can barley tell that he ever had this problem and it hasn't been that long. plus artistry and clear.now both offer a 100% money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied. now obviously it will only help if you use it how you are supposed to and consistently. also taking a good multi vitamin and drinking lots of water will make a huge difference too!
you can get it at www.vherr.qhealthbeauty.com
and you can check out the company and its back ground at www.artistry.com
i hope that you are as happy with this as we were!

The first sign of impurities in our body, shows the result in the skin. You have to drink plenty of Water, at least more that 8 glasses a day. Eat plenty of fruits & Vegetables. Its advisable to take fruit juices often. You could go for alternative treatments like ayurveda. They prescribe external application. I have Personal experience.

It seems as though your type of acne might respond best to Proactive. Give it a try, it doesn't work for all but it works for some & you'll get your money back if it doesn't.
