You're making a big mistake by still sleeping with him because that lets him know that he has a hold on you, which may be what he is trying to do. There is no possible way that he would want to be in a relationship when he can still get what he wants, from you, without being in a relationship. No harm, I'm just telling you the truth. I'm sorry to hear that a long relationship had to end like that, but it seems that he just wants to be "bed buddies", and that's insensitive and cruel. Get out of it while you can because as long as he knows that he has a hold on you, the more he will take advantage of you. You're 21, you're still young, and you can still go out and find someone who has the same interest in having a committed relationship. It will be hard to let go, but it will be for the best. I hope everything works out.

Once again i hate telling people things they don't want to hear, but i really have to say that if you and him have been together for 4 yrs and he thinks you may get back together then you are selling your self real short. STOP! having sex with him, and see if that speeds up the thought process. If you two are really best friends then i don't think he would be making you wait so long. I think you should go and find someone who knows he wants to be with you. I say you have waited long enough. good luck

Sorry - but this means he wanted to see what else was out there. You can either take this as a good thing or a bad thing. Either he went out there and saw that what he had was a good thing - or he is still having some good thing and you. You have to be careful here, sleeping together is not a good idea. Cut him off and see if he still wants to be best friends.

Hun a friend of mine just went through a similar situation. They were together for about 3 years. He turned 21 and decided he "didn't want commitment". What that basically means is, he still cares for you, wants to have sex with you. But also, wants to be with other women. She found this out the hard way. You know what you do? forget him for awhile. Its hard but be distant and make him think you have moved on..Then you will see how he really feels...Don't let him take advantage of you. "women give sex to get love, men give love to get sex"

Stop letting him string you along. Take control. Let him know what you want from him and give a time line. Do Not sleep with him unless he is willing to commit to you and you alone. You are not a puppet, you are a woman demand the respect that you deserve or walk away.

He is telling you that because you are giving him sex, duh. You are nothing but a booty call to him. Move on & find someone else or stay single. Too young to be worrying about all of that. He is so playing you. But hey, if you want him, sleep with him, but don't get mad for when he starts seeing another girl. Hell, he could be doing that now. You don't know what he is doing all the time. I say move on & get away from him.

I'm sorry to tell you but he is just telling you what you want to hear so he can have sex with you. He just going to keep having sex with you and still have his options open to date someone else. Don't be surprised if he gets a gf and then gives you this long speech about how he thought he wanted to be with you but he doesn't. STOP having sex with ASAP. HE is wasting your time

You can't let him have his cake & eat it too. Your feelings matter also. This may seem harsh, but he made be thinking that he can find someone better. Don't sleep with him anymore and if he comes running back its meant to be, if he doesn't then it isn't meant to be.

He likes you and wants to have sex with you. But in his heart he believes that something better may come along. so he's going to keep you on a string until it's time to cut you loose.
Good luck with that.

Why would he want to get back with you when he can keep you on the back burner for when his other girls aren't around?
Move on girl. Don't let him run over you.
