Eat an apple or an orange. Apples are actually better than coffee at waking you up and it's healthy too!

The best way to stay awake after lunch is to make sure you eat the right thing FOR lunch. A heavy carb lunch will make you sluggish and tired. So, for energy, go for some protein. Perhaps, some grilled chicken or fish and a healthy salad.
Drink plenty of water. Also, if you eat smaller meals every three hours as apposed to larger ones three times a day, you will keep your blood sugar levels normal and this alone will give you more energy.

I have noticed that high-calorie, high-fat lunches make it impossible for me to remain alert after lunch. Try a more "diet" lunch, more fiber, low fat etc. You will tell the difference right away. But also take note of any snacks you eat before and after as well. Somebody's bowl of m&m's on the desk could be bringing you down too on the after sugar burn.

It's that carbohydrate rush.... and then, all of a sudden, the rush is over and you crash. rethink what you are having for lunch. That could help. Also, move around a bit after eating.... take a short walk, take the stairs... that would help get your metabolism going again.

I typically have a cup of coffee after lunch. This helps me avoid the post-lunch doldrums.

Eat a lunch that is low in carbs and sugar but high in protein. Carbs and sugar cause your blood sugar to spike rather high but if you don't eat enough protein to help keep it level it drops sharply causing you to feel tired and sluggish.

Sometimes, your blood sugar will just DROP, and you feel VERY sleepy. Do not eat sugars or any chocolate for lunch, then, about 2, have a banana..........it works wonders!
