Crucify the flesh means to put to death the fallen nature of man that causes him to sin. When the flesh is put away the spirit becomes more alive.

Some Christians *might* think that using this kind of language about one's own faith is self-aggrandising and pompous. Faith requires sacrifices, sure, (anything less is cheap grace) but going on YA and telling the world that you daily crucify your flesh suggests a Messiah complex of massive proportions.
Well - some Christians might think that, but of course I couldn't *possibly* comment!

It means that you say no to your "fleshly desires"...it basically means that you are turning away from the temporary pleasures of this earth, (crucified with Christ,) and you are turning to God's will and His plan for your life, and your eternity, (being born again of the Holy Spirit).
It truly is a wonderful ride; I suggest you hop aboard.
