My boss would like to know what software our employees have loaded on their computers. I am looking for a free program that can generate a printout of that. Does anyone know of any?

Yes its free and you dont need to download anything....

Run a free scan from pcpitstop, then on the right side you will see a link for installed software, it gives a complete list along with the date it was installed....

http://pcpitstop.com

At this link, click full scan
Then click on the key, New Members
You can create a free account, or click dont create account and run the test!

This works in Outlook 2000 -- unfortunately it does not work in Outlook 2003 - or, if it does, I haven't figured it out yet.

Open Outlook
make sure the Outlook Bar is active (View, Outlook Bar)
click Other Shortcuts

To print a list of contents of a folder:
select My Documents
Using View, Current View menu, show what you want
click File
click Print

To print a list of installed programs, you would select My Computer instead of My Documents, go to C:, click Programs, you will see a list of program to the right. Adjust the width of columns, then File, Print.
