The only office program I need is Microsoft Word. So thats all I am really asking about

No version of Vista comes with office. Most new computers will come with MS Works Suite (which will have Word) or MS Works (which has a Word-compatible word processor).

Windows Vista has a word process called Wordpad.
Microsoft Office is another software pack. and also Microsoft Word is a part of that pack.
So the answer is no.

I think it comes with an evaluation copy of MS Office which you have to buy after 30 days (for ~$500.). My advice is to not do it. If you need a good word processor you can use Open Office which has most of the same features as MS Word. It can open all the MSWord files and save the files as MSWord (.doc) files. It also has Powerpoint and Excel knockoffs and can save files as PDFs. They are as good as the MS apps!

No! None of Vista editions has it. You have to buy it separately. But probably you will have a trial version for 60 or 30 days depends of your PC maker.

No, it doesn't. Comes with Microsoft Works, which has a word processing program. It's not as fancy as MS Word though.

No version of abode windows has ever contain place of work. place of work is a seperate software itself. in case you ever have been given place of work with your computing gadget it particularly is a few thing your computing gadget manufacture does! (to get you purchase there computing gadget). No version of Vista has place of work with it!
