Well, sometimes, like some guys do, we'll take your number so that we won't be too rude to you, or because we dont want to actually deal with you at the time, so we give the number hope you dont call, (maybe because many times they dont call). Also she may not have wanted to put you down. Maybe the girl was playing the "i bet i can get morre numbers than you girl" game.

You sure it was her phone number she gave you? If so she is strange. Better off finding out now than later.
