Hey, I'll start off by saying i'm 15 years old, and i recieved the call to preach during the winter, and this Sunday my paster is having me do a "Sermonette". Im worried that since im so young people wont take me seriously, i really feel i have recieved this message from god, but i dont want to be taken as not being serious. What should i do?

I think you will do well. Just get up there and do your sermon. You may be able to reach someone who is having a hard time. I will pray for you. God Bless

Verify your source. How do you know the call came from 'god'? Did you hear a voice in your head? Did god call you on your cell phone? Did you read this in a book and then decide that it was meant only for you? Did you dream it in a dream? How exactly did you get this "call" ? And what convniced you that it was a call from god? Can you demonstrate empirically to others how you got the call and how you knew it was actually from god? Could anyone, anywhere make the same claim as you? How would we know who was telling the truth? Include all these thoughts in your sermonette. Let people decide for themselves based upon the actual evidence if there is any - about this "call".

Your age shouldn't matter. It wouldn't to me. My daughter is 10 and she knows God, very well!

I wouldn't worry about how folks view you if you are answering your calling. I'd focus on what your going to speak about. Seek out Godly counsel and ask the Lord for courage.

Be stern........use some long pauses (for attention).....and pray pray pray for the Holy Spirit's guidance.
If it's your calling......God will feed you the words.
