i mean i know i could just go to sleep and dream of leonardo dicaprio but my teachers yell at me when i sleep so i need another method.

I would recommend not filling up on sugar and caffiene before school because you will be flying for a while, but you will crash down hard when it wears off. Take a semi cold shower in the morning, that helps me. I also, this is no joke, poke myself with my pen if I start to fall asleep. Not enough to hurt yourself, but a little poke keeps you alert. I made it through a semester of history with this method. I ended up with a B after failing the midterm. Give it shot, it can't hurt to try.

First of all get a good night's sleep. But if you are in class and the drowsiness kicks in, chewing anything seems to help. If you are not allowed any food in class, then you might try pinching yourself

breathing in clean air.foot rotations.

some perfumes are very stimulating and will wake up your brain. keep some with you and just dab a drop.

I also keep a message from someone I can't stand on my cellphone and when I need to wake up I listen to this persons voice. just a little listening to it stimulates my fight or flight response,adrenaline, and I really wake up .

I love English class!! In fact, I possess a B.A. in English! It's not as bad as you think. Just stay focused. Bring life savers to suck on to keep you alert.

Keep a bunch of Snicker bars in your bookbag and eat one before class.

One trick I use is to pull down on each ear lobe and take a couple of deep breaths.
