Primitive people correlating the wonder at things done by their parents during childhood to their inability to understand other things later in life.
Humanity's first steps into the realm of what might later become thought.
One has to learn to be an idiot before one can learn to be clever.
Then again, assuming the christian perspective, it is just one of those inane paradoxes that christianity refuses to acknowledge. They claim the world is so complex that it must have had a conscious creator.... and yet somehow the creator itself isn't complex enough to have required a creator of its own?
