Thats so sad. Some people are really irresponsible. Ask her if she has ever heard of birth control. What if this 2nd baby is a boy, does she plan to keep having sex with different men until she has a little girl. Thats just stupid. I guess some people do not learn though. I would seriously talk with her and see if she has considered adoption. Why let another child grow up in poverty? What bank would give her a loan without colateral to put up? Recently, to pay funeral expences, we refinanced our house, and had to put up an arm and a leg. Now I am like everyone needs life insurance. Sorry to get off topic. But I cant believe someone would give her a loan.
No one in there right mind would get pregnant if they were struggling again. Things do happen, but she should have used protection. So sad, that now she will have two children that she cant support.
I wish you all the best. Good luck!

I wonder the same thing all the time. So many people get themselves into this situation - though with the availability of birth control, there is no excuse! People simply do not think of the long-range consequences of their actions. They believe the gov't should be responsible for caring for them and their family, which is such an irresponsible attitude.

It's all of us. It was very clear that in your question, you pointed out, quite frankly, how stupid she was/is?, but not once mentioned how you took her under your wing to guide her to making better decisions. Everyone harps on the results of sex, but applauds the sex driven world around us.
She is searching to fulfill a void, and because we can sit back, judge her and talk about her, she never gets the help she needs.
If she valued herself more, she would not participate in the risky life that she has. Moreover, if she had an example, it would make it that much more easier.
So who has the greater evil? She and her studpidity or us in our hypocrisy?

Some people need to feel worthy or loved. It seems like this is acheived through her children. It's the only thing in her life that makes her feel important. She is also not very well educated.

Some people use sex and children (not together!) to fill emotional needs without thinking about the consequences of either. It is an irresponsible thing to do in my opinion but it is her life.

I understand your fustration and you want what's best for your friend, don't we all. Sometimes you have to let them fall on their faces, for them to realize their mistakes. It's hard to see it happen, but that's what you have to do. What's even worse in my opinion is if she can't make it with the kids the kids may fall into the victims system and repeat what she is doing. Talk to her, express your concerns.

This is a big problem in America. A VERY big problem in fact.
I wish I knew why...
Maybe they are desperate for attention and love?
ITs too bad that we can not regulate who continues to have kids when they do not have proper means of supporting them.
Can't feed em' don't breed em'

That isn't something that I would choose to do but it's her life and she'll have to live with the decisions she made.
