Ignore the jack@$$es.

Hello! I was about 270 lbs when I got most of my tattoos. It really depends on where on your body that you get them. I knew that some day I wanted kids and that someday I would lose most of the blubber(but damn it I rocked my curves even then! Power to the thick chicks!!! LOL!) I got up to 315lbs after I had my son last year(I also have a 4.5 year old daughter), and decided(DUH!)time to lose the weight. After a lot of hard work-calorie counting, exercising regularly, NO surgery-I have gotten rid of(not "lost", cuz you can find it again if you've lost it!) 104 pounds, and ALL of my tattoos have remained unchanged. I do have loose skin on my arms and inner thighs and my belly-but I don't have tattoos on my inner thighs, my arms, or my belly. I do have one on my butt, tho, and even tho I have lost a lot of fat back there, the skin on it has remained suprisingly tight!

Really. Go ahead and get your tattoos. Just be smart about where on your body you get them.
Much love!

And "fattists"? I laugh in your general direction. Women of ALL sizes can be sexy. I reitterate-Power to the thick chicks.

It would probably depend on where it is...like an ankle tattoo wouldn't change that much. But with saggy skin comes saggy tattoo.

Probably not much effect. Ever see someone who lost a ton of weight and have extra skin rolls? It's because the skin didn't shrink to match the body.

i think it depends on where it is, the only place i would worry about is the stomach and sometimes even that doesnt effect the tattoo. and it depends on how overweight you are! are you 20pds 50pds 400pds??

Use cocoa butter lotion on it, a lot, every single day. If not - it will look like stretched-out crap.
