Why do you have to prove anything?! If you believe it's not true what's the differance what others think?..could it be because you aren't sure and would feel better to prove somebody else is wrong?..I think you need to loook for what is right rather than what is wrong.
P.S. - not that it matters or is anyone's business..but did you ever think the Bible is right and the "interpreters" are wrong (seeing as humans)

My question would be why you think it is necessary to prove anything. The same questions have been asked for centuries. Yes, there are historical, and ideological inaccuracies within the bible, as with all ancient text, due to the artistic license take with the initial translation, as well as the exaggerations created to give each story more impact and more fear factor. You must remember that not only during the time of the writing of the books of the bible, as well as the times of it's translation, most of the known world was illiterate. Those in power wanted to stay in power so the translations had some, shall we say, embellishments in order to keep the status quo. People will believe what they wish, no matter if you were to have absolute proof that god is a myth, and the writings are nothing but stories used to keep the locals in line. This religious fervor is so ingrained in the lives of so many people, they would be completely lost if it were taken from them, and many would rather die. In fact some have died, and others have killed to keep this lie alive. Remember if the lie becomes the truth, continue the lie.

Consider this.....A well built old house had been lived in and enjoyed by many families over the years. Then someone purchased it, but bars on the windows , and imprisoned and tortured people in it...does this make the house an instrument of evil? The fact that the leaders of the so-called Christian faiths have used the Bible in the way you described does not make the Bible itself an instrument of evil any more than the aformentioned house..

You mean that it advocates a talking burning bush, giants, talking snakes, a stick turning into a snake, a sea parting, a man born of immaculate conception the son of a god, water turning into wine, a man walking on water, and a man rising from the dead after three days isn't enough to convince you its all fake?

There are innacuracies in the names, dates, numbers and so forth..so if it is the holy book and is from the almighty god it must be very accurate..
Only the Quran is the most accurate one..
