I do the treadmill 5 times a week for 1 hour, and usually it goes like this:
5 minutes at 2.0 speed to warm up
15 mins at 4.6 jogging/running
5 mins cool down 2.0 speed
15 mins at 4.6 jogging/running
5 mins cool down
10 mins speed walking with 5.0 incline
5 min cooldown

is that good? I usually sweat a lot and my heart goes up to 180
I'm 19/male btw

Treadmills are a great cardio workout, but if you've been doing that routine for a while your body has gotten used to it. This means that you are maintaining your current weight. If you'd like to lose more weight then you need switch it up a little more by using the incline (grade), going faster or going longer/farther or any combination of these things.

You need to start out warming up at 3.0 and then jog at 4.6 if that is all you can do. Then go down to 3.5. But try to work your way to walking no less than 3.8 with the exception of when you are warming up.

One thing about treadmills, i think its a good cardio workout.... but i dont know if u realized, that u wont lose so much calories in 10mins, like the eliptical machine...... I realized 10mins on a treadmil is bout 40cals..... but the eliptical is bout 100cals every 10mins....... Eliptical machines is a total body workout and u and lose way more carlories and fat than a treadmil..... This is my opinion
