Yes, U should consider yourself lucky because this is a sign of affection and happiness with the surroundings that you have put them in...They do say the quicker you remove them from the cage, the better for the bird. The emotional stress from trying to hatch them is not good for them.....Enjoy this special way of bonding with your bird and pay even more attention to them during this funky way of communication...Neat info, huh.........Have fun!!

That is normal, but the eggs are not fertilized because there is no male in the cage. So there will not be any babies I assure you. How these birds make love is that the male just brushes up against her, and she is "pregnant" and then will lay eggs and then sit on them for at least 30 days. But in your case, she may continue to lay eggs but no babies will come out of the eggs.

Parakeets as well as alot of our feathered friends lay eggs throughout their lives without a male in sight. But as long as there is no male to fertilize the eggs naturally there will be no babys in her future.

This is totally and completley normal, my little girl did that all the time with no male. I have no clue why, but all girls do this, if they lay eggs with a male then those eggs will hatch, if no male, just throw those eggs out because they won't hatch if theyre not fertilized.

It's perfectly normal for female parakeets to lay eggs- this means she really loves you and is happy and very healthy. When they love their owner so much they start to think of them as a mate and lay eggs, it's a love sign-- of course these eggs won't be fertilised.

yes, I have a bird. She lays eggs all the time. But she does sit on them and tries to bite anyone who goes near them. So we let her keep them for a while. But the never hatch.

Yes it is normal. I have finches. The females had no male in the cage but laid eggs. They were infertile so would never produce. It's nothing to worry about.

My female cockatiel does the same thing. She lays eggs and they lay in her cage until we remove them. It's normal.
