Do thirty-something year old women have unrealistic expectations when looking for a potential boyfriend?

No more higher expectations than men of that age thinking that women should have no body fat, wrinkles, be a perfect cook, dress like a supermodel, and never be in a bad mood.

If this makes me unrealistic so be it. In my 20's I had the boyfriend that did drugs, one that drank too much, one that lied, one that never did what he said he was gonna do. And I'm not with them anymore.

Yes definitely. By the time they get that old they have made up this unrealistic, fantasy man that no human being could ever live up to. Most won't marry and as they get older their expectations will become higher, making it even more difficult for them to carry on the most basic of relationships with the opposite sex. They will continue the futile quest for this ghost until their dying day, trying to find and have a relationship with a man that doesn't even exist.

It depends on what you define as "unrealistic expectations". Some women are just plainly highly maintainable and won't be happy until they find someone who will cater to their every want and need.

On the contrary, they re very realistic and they ve realised that Mr. Right only lives in movies and real guys have flaws and its a matter of accepting and adjusting each other s flaws and virtues.
