In my case the pimples came back but they are not as bad as before. You can try going off of it and see but if you decied you want to go back on it will take about a month till you get back to the point that you are at right now. If i were you I would either try to find somthing similar where you live of keep using proactiv for the time being. You may eventurally grow out of the need. In the end it is up to you is the high price worth having clear skin. You could try having her send a couple of months supply at once and maybe save on shipping that way.

Your facial skin tends to adapt to the changes you enact on it. In your case, you started using Proactiv to to scrub, clean and moisturize your face with an acne fighting additive (benzol peroxide). So if you all of a sudden stop using it, your skin may become oily, and breakouts may occur again.

I would suggest trying to find something at the store similar to the proactiv system. Find a mild facial scrub, a toner without alcohol, and a moisturizer with spf and benzol peroxide. That should certainly help ease the transition.

its a big rip off the active ingrediant is benzoil pexocide and you get that in any acne medication like clearisil or a hundred other in any drug store . i hate to see these companys and stars get richer at the expense of some poor young person who thinks this stuff will work sorry there is no known cure for acnee and the cheap stuff works just as good save your money

I use Klear Action it is less expensive and has all of the same ingredients as Proactive. I'm not sure if they will ship to you but the link is below.
