Well done chick. Get yourself a Peugeot 206 1 litre. You can't go wrong with one of those for a first car. Or for proper cheapness one of those Smart cars would be good. I have to have cars with plenty of room in them for all the sh*gging I do in them.

As your first car I would recommend something used so you can get used to the road. Many times we don't treat our first cars well anyway. You have your friends in them, don't get the oil changed like you should, and possibly get into accidents. All these things will be a lot less devastating if the car is used.

Well done honey
I bet you don't sleep tonight
It took 4 days for it to sink in when I passed
Whatever you get have a lesson with a driving instructor in your new car
I had to as I didn't realise that all clutches are different
It's true that you don't start driving until you pass your test
Don't be surprised if you have problems, I passed 1st time but it took me 6 weeks to find my confidence

Well done again you should celebrate big style

Get a cheapie, prove to your insurance co you can drive, get your premiums down. Take someone who knows cars along when you get your cheapie, go for something low on power. Remember, a good gap in front, good gap behind, turning right & changing lane are danger points. By the way, your dear 85 yr old granny is always in the passenger seat, and hell, can she nag. Take it easy, now is the time to learn to drive.

Congratulations!!!
Whatever you get, make sure it's as reliable as possible. Join a breakdown association and carry your mobile always.
A car gives you so much freedom it can completely change your life but be prepared for that inevitable breakdown.
Sorry to be a bit of a wet blanket but better safe than sorry.
Happy driving...

Well done!, do get secondhand though for first car, just to be on safe side, you would be so upset if you had newer and something happened. Safe driving

It's a brilliant feeling when you pass your test, i remember mine well even though it was over 20 yrs ago!

You now free to go where you want, when you want so it makes you very independant.
