Though VINEGAR cleans, it does not remove sticky residue. Try getting some goopy, GOO GONE. A small container goes along way on a rag, and gently rub it off. No wait , just add and wipe

There are several commercial removers out on the market to remove sticky stuff. Most have a really unpleasant smell and are flammable.

You can try using veggie oil to try and release the sticky part of it, and gently begin to pull it off the wall. Only draw back is you will have to clean the oily mess off the wall.

You can try using a blow dryer on high. Once the sticky stuff starts to warm up, very carefully and gently start to scrape the fix-it off the wall using a putty knife or a dull knife. If you feel comfortable using a razor blade you could do that.

Another way is trying to "freeze" the fix-it, using an ice cube or better yet turn a can of "canned air" upside down and blow directly on the fix-it. Be careful not to get that on your skin, because it could give you a freeze burn. Once it is really really cold, scrape it off.

Hope this helps.

Drop of white spirit but the gooey stuff might leave a small mark,It may sponge off with a little washing up liquid to remove the spirit and the gunge.

Try mixing white vinegar and water (1/4 vinegar to 3/4 water) spray the stickers and let sit for a few minutes (about 10) then scrape off. Make sure you saturate the stickers.

There is only one kind of spirit for this job and that is Surgical Spirit.

Don't knock it before you try it.

The other solutions mention will leave grease spots or oil stains on your wall.
