It is ok for a girl to flirt with a boy, but only ONE boy. That will make him feel special. Don't flirt with more than one boy at a time.

I know exactly what you mean. It is called a double standard. We feel with the liberation of women that times have changed, but in reality, it remains the same. People still look at a woman who sleeps around with many men as a loose woman. While a man is looked upon as a great lover, a casanova. It is unfair. Maybe it is this way, because women are blessed by being able to bare children. We are the nuturers, the ones the our children depend upon for tenderness and love. I feel this in itself holds a tremendous responsibility and should not be taken lightly. We should be proud to be women, to be able to do some things that a man could never do. Men and women are different. We should learn to appreciate and respect our differences.

In Indian society girls are traditionally assigned to the indoors. They are ideally required to be shy, very feminine and not at all exuberant in their behaviour, especially in front of males and elders. This deep rooted stereotype has not been totally erased from our minds even in this age of liberal thinking. A lot of highly educated people can not come out of this pattern of thinking. Hence, the result as stated in your question.

In today's world, girl's are given more importance. So if any things goes wrong it depends upon both (boy/girl). They are been called as bad character girl. But it depends upon the boy to accept or reject

Because it's a double standard. One thing is ok for one type of person (men) and not ok for another type of person (women.)
Personally, i believe the standards should hold for both sides. It's like..... a guy can have sex with multiple women & people think he's just a lady's man, but if a woman has sex with multiple men she's called a *****.
I think ANYONE who has sex randomly with multiple partners is immoral & unsafe. It shouldn't be good for men & not good for women. It should be bad for both men & women. If it's bad for one it should be bad for both or if it is good for one it should be good for both. It shouldn't be one is good & one is bad.
I think that the whole idea of double standards must've stemmed from earlier culture when men were dominant & women were expected to stay at home. I think that as the world continues to change in favor of women having equal power as men then we will (hopefully) see these standards change. Hopefully one day men AND women will learn to just be faithful to the one person they are with. If you are with someone & you're flirting with people i believe it is wrong whether you're a man or a woman.

well coz girls r supposed to enjoy ..... boys r the 1 who r supposed to struggle to get a date u noe!! ;)...... neway.....its the same reason if a relationshuip goes bad.... its alwaz the boys fault... if the girl suciedes ...its her bfs fault... and if a boy suciedes... its bcoz he cldnt handel the pressure.....
