I have two cats, both of them are used to being around other animals, but at the same time can be extreemly territorial. I have seen them get very rough with other animals. Well I moved in with a friend this weekend, and his kitten is kicking the crap out of two cats twice her size. I mean shes lucky if she weighs 4 pounds, and they are both well over 10 pounds, but she comes after them and they run and hide, give up the food, ect. I have never seen something so funny in my whole life, one is hiding under the bed, and the other in the closet while this tiney little KITTEN bullys them. My female keeps coming out trying to make friends, and then gets smacked so hard I know shes seeing stars, the male comes out from under the bed looks out the door sees the other can and dives back under the bed. I know they are stressed, and I shouldn't be laughing, but I can't help it, its the funniest thing I have ever seen!

ok to the person who said I just threw them in a new place, NO I did not, I have had cats for 5 years, I have done the introduction thing many times as we have had a few different roommates al with pets, I let them out to explore when the kitten was in her room locked up, then I put them in my bed room with all my stuff and the door shut, so they would get used to it, i just let them out when im home so i can supervise, durring the day when Im at work they are in the bed room with the door shut and food water and litter. and no one has gotten hurt, and they have to get used to each other....I was just sharing a funny thing

Napoleon complex! The little ones always act tougher to compensate for their size. Look at those little yappy dogs!

The kitten is trying to show dominance over your cats.
After all THEY moved into her territory and she's trying to make sure they know and remember that.
The only thing is, that it's possible that your cats may just get sick and tired of it and go for the kitten.

Try re-introducing the cats to each other very slowly, this should help to cut down on the problem.

Can you keep your two cats in a room separate from the kitten?
If so, then keep them in the room with food, water, toys, litter box and bed.
Let them out to interact with the kitten for about an hour the first day...each day add an hour or so onto the time that all the cats are together.

Rub each of your cats with a towel and rub the kitten with a towel...you the kittens towel to your cats and your cats towels to the kitten...this will help them get used to the smell of each other.
Also a tip that my Vet gave me that has always worked is to put a drop of vanilla between each cats shoulder blades and at the base of each cats tail...that way they all smell alike.

Aggressive little thing!

My parents used to have a cat like that, who would sometimes venture outside. But he didn't go far: He was scared of the other toms in the neighborhood.

Well, one day he got cornered and he had to fight- and fight he did! He kicked the stuffing out of this other cat about twice his size, and ever after that he would march around DARING the other cat to come fight again!

The other cat never did.

That is very funny. But seriously they will establish a pecking order so to speak. Your grown cats are just a bit overwhelmed by the new home and the kittens energy. Give it some time.

YEA they are stressed alright . Poor guys. You shouldnt have thrown them straight out into the new home. With any new cats brought into a house they need to be slowly introduced to each other to prevent fights or any stressing.

They are in a new home with new smells with a new top cat around regardless of age and scared out of their mind of what the heck is going on. Your cats just intruded on the little guys home turf with out proper introduction.

That is funny
They will get use to the place but the small one will always be the boss since the others are in his territory.
