I wasn't too impressed by the two police panda drivers, who came out of a corner almost on the door-handles; laughing as they raced each other with blue-lights flashing.

I wasn't impressed, because they were totally out of control and drifted onto my side of the road as I approached. I avoided a head-on collision by bouncing up the kerb.

Most traffic police appear competent, but very few could be regarded as "super" drivers.

Of course, I feel sure that the one who was caught doing 169mph is probably a better driver than Lewis Hamilton.....let's hope so, because Lewis Hamilton doesn't have traffic coming the other way in a Grand Prix, and he doesn't go a lot faster.

I have never been in the U.K. However, as it regards your question I believe that to be irrelevant, as the very same question/comment arises in every state, city, or community in the U.S., frequently. As always, I believe it simply illustrates the predicament Police EVERYWHERE are placed in: a no win situation. If it is YOUR car, or YOUR home, or YOUR loved ones in jeopardy....the Police cannot respond or act quickly enough..."Where the hell are they, what's taking so long?"...When somebody Else's trouble, the Police become "a danger to the public re their driving...too aggressive, and so on." The Police have an impossible assignment. What is it you expect of them, aside from perfection?

he said he was running on red bull and pro plus, and every time he put on the blue lights he was 'buzzing out'
