Do not push wind power as a reliable power source,in this area the wind doesn't blow when u need the light.

It is environmentally clean and running cost is low (only mechanical maintenance since wind itself is free). Remote operation is possible since it is inherently safe. Potential is very high to meet the energy demands.
You wanted only pros and no cons. I hope you are aware of the cons too.

you need to be in a windy place ,it is clean and cheap once you got the intalation

No chemical or nuclear pollutants are produced in the process.
No one dies in mine accidents acquiring fuel since the fuel is not dug from a mine.
You did not ask about the cons.
Birds are killed.
The supply is not reliable in most locations.
