You need to give more details. Reason for paralysis, length of infirmary to date, age, other health issues etc. Sorry I can't help but the answers would vary depending on other factors.

I have paralysis affecting the legs. There is medication. Recommended by neurologist (specialist on nerves ) I am taking madopar which relieves the jerking however it contains levadopa which if you are taking can have an effect (visions ,logic ) My doctor also has advised that there is other medication which will help my movements. They are becoming very spastic (not very flowing to say the least) My paralysis will not get better. The person may have a different type so he may recover. Only a specialist can advise after having a number of tests. It could be a tumour which can affect the nerves by constricting so the sooner tests are done the sooner one can get better. Hope this is of some help.
