I have been at 2 companies the past 8 years. Three at one company and just over five with my current employer. He has gotten orders to move to Fort Lewis Washington. Am I eligible for benefits until I can find new employment. I know different states have different rules.

Double check with the state of Washington. I believe, in many states, if you're relocated because of a spouse's job, you can collect.

Unemployment insurance is for people who have been laid off, not people who have voluntarily left a job for any reason. Since you are choosing to leave your job to follow your husband you are not eligible for it. On the other hand I'm pretty sure the army has some placement services for spouses.

No. When you voluntarily quit your job - even if it's because your husband relocates - you are not eligible for unemployment coverage.

No, the reason your husband gets BAH w/ dependents is because you have to move and change jobs every 3 or so years.

Not if you leave a job voluntarily. Only if dismissed without cause.
