Depends what kinda place you are looking for... if you want nice dance clubs that you have to dress up for then stay around sunset blvd - there is always something new going on there but be prepared to pay cover charges and high prices for drinks.... also be prepared to possibly not get into some of the clubs. Bouncers will pick people out of the linewho they want in and leave others to stand out there & never let them in.
If you want a cool casual place... Hermosa Beach is cool. The pier is very casual beach clubs...always lots of fun.
