Do you think their scales are accurate?

I weighed myself in Boots both times after going to the meeting and got a different reading both times.

I only weigh myself twice a week, to compare to prev week.

Mon - Weight Watchers
Tues - Boots

Yes I have. At the end of the day (or weeek even, lol) so long as your being weighed by the same set of scales, then your weight loss (or gain) will be accurate week by week. I found theweightwatchers scales we were using weighed me in less than the set at home.

Good luck!

I have found the Weight Watchers scales are very accurate. They are actually required by law to be calibrated to a very precise accuracy, because they are used in a commercial setting. They are checked regularly to ensure that they remain accurate. I have been to WW meetings all over the country, and the scales have been consistently accurate.

I will say that if you are weighing yourself on two different days, there will naturally be some discrepancy between the two numbers, as your weight can fluctuate (down or up) from day to day - and even throughout the same day! This is quite normal, and is actually one of the reasons WW recommends not weighing yourself more than once per week - it allows the natural fluctuations to even out and prevents unnecessary frustration if you happen get a different number at another time in the week.

I am not a fan of WW but their scales have to be accurate because they are used commercially. Boots scales wil also have to be accurate. the best thing you can do is stop obsessing and stop weighing yourself all the time. The only important thing is whether you weigh more or less than the previous week.

Yes I have.

I don't think it matters what your weight is really, if you weigh on the same scales at home and don't ever move them you would get the most accurate result as there are various factors that can lead to different results

Good luck

No matter were you weight yourself you will weight different as every set of scales weigh differently, plus different time of the day weigh you different weights, try either weighting yourself first thing in a morning, say on a Monday then a week later weighing again.

I would say that the scales are more accurate at weight watchers than in boots, those machines are a bit dodgy and can be knocked out of synch.

The scales at our Weight Watchers meetings are very accurate. They have a certificate from the state stating they have been calibrated once every month.

I think it depends on the scales. Dont beat yourself up, stop weighing yourself - just wait for the next WW meeting.
