You can't get rid of dandruff forever, as you will always shed skin from the scalp. The only thing that you can do is to use anti-dandruff shampoo etcetera.

i don't think that you can really get rid of dandruff forever. you have to work with it constantly.

i know that dandruff can be caused by dryness of scalp and stress. to help stop or prevent that: get a hot oil treatment every week until your dandruff's gone. also, condition your hair everyday. rinse well, of course. and try not to stress yourself out too much. :)

Shave your head. If you have it and nothing works, you will have to live with it to at least a certain degree. No hair though, means no dandruff. Think about it, ever see a bald guy with dandruff?

scrub your scalp when your washing your hair.Stop using hot water, use a good cream conditioner, and rub it into your scalp, not just your hair, and rinse with cold water, it helps with shine. You have to care for the skin on your head just as you do the rest of your body. It's not necessary to use "dandruff" shampoo's as long as you take good care of your scalp. Consider conditioner a lotion for your scalp. And hot oil generally wouldnt work as oil only cloogs the skin, not moisturizes it. Good luck!
