We are told that the sanke, Adam and Eve were able to talk to each other before that alleged sin but nowhere is it written that god punished them by cutting communication capabilities between the snake and human beings?

First of it said serpent not snake in the bible. Everyone assumes it is a Snake. And the serpent was suppose to be the devil. That's the only reason it communicated with Adam and Eve.

"there shall be enmity between you..." was talking about the snake ... umm, how much communication do you give to your enemies that strike you in the heel and you crush underfoot?
