Hello

Only the breeder can kc reg a pup and BOTH parents must already be kc registered.
IF you are the breeder and both parents are kc reg then if you go to the kc website www.thekennelclub.org.uk there will be a form on there to download and print and send back to the kc for processing,it costs £12 per puppy to be regsitered.

When pedigree pups are born the pups are registered individually. The only other way of trying it is to phone the kennel club with the sire and dams name and see if they can help. They will also be able to tell you ir the litter was registered. There are also strict guidelines about breeding. It's about the age of the *****, or how many litters she has had, if she is over either the pups would not be able to be registered.

It depends - do you want to register it as as pedigree or on the working and obedience trials register? Pedigrees must be registered by their breeder, and you should have received a Kennel Club certificate and transfer of ownership form from the breeder when you bought your puppy. If you didn't, then the pup probably isn't registered and unfortuantely can't be now.

If you just want to register them for the working and obedience trials (so they can compete in things like agility and obedience) then you need to log on to the Kennel Club website and download an authority to compete form. This does not mean your dog will be kennel club registered for breed (even cross breeds can be registered to compete)

If your dog came from kc reg parents and a reputable breeder, then he should already be registered. The breeder would have given you a certificate that would need to be filled in and sent to the kennel club to change the registered owner to yourself. If your dog came from registered stock but his litter were not registered, you maybe able to register it using details from his pedigree(another certificate you should have been given). I would suggest contacting the kennel club regarding this. If your dog came from stock not registered, pedigree or not, I don't think you can register it.

If the breeder didn't register the litter, then you can't I'm afraid.

The breeders give the pup a kennel name and you have to pay to register it. Of course this is only for pedigree pups with registered parents!
