Just try to make it a special day, from start to finish. Cook nice meal, have a cake, small thoughtful gifts and loving quiet time together watching his favourite movie. Just get intohis head for a day and do what you think he'd like to do.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

If you don't have a lot of cash, try making something. You could put together a photo album of your relationship, or take a picture of a place that is special to you in a nice frame.
Try writing a poem or letter to him. You could buy 34 little presents for him, just small things, but all in a nice box.
Or cook him a really special meal on his birthday.

Well I made a scrapbook for my man. It was fairly cheap and I put funny headlines around pictures plus romantic ones as well. I also burned off a cd with love songs that reminded me of him and had candles around a hot bubble bath. Guys like that stuff too. Also you can print off romantic coupons off the net. They are awesome and he will LOVE them:) The best gifts have thought put into them. I'm sure you'll do great!!XXX

Why don't you make a nice picnic with wine and go out for the day? Go somewhere different and enjoy a nice day out in a park followed by cinema or buying some nice not-so-sleepwear and offering your affections??
I don't know what else to suggest as my husband's fav present from me was a £3,000 watch! (can't afford that anymore!)

The star will have his name until the end of time and will be mentioned in astronomy books and stuff.
