For example, I like that one tidbit in the Bible
Luke 2:52
And Jesus increased in Wisdom, Stature, and in favor with God and Man.
I think it's a very noble way to go about your life!

I AGREE WITH the bit on Buddism. i agree with their theory on karma. i like the way Wiccans respect the earth and nature, i like all the rituals involved in the Muslim and Jewish practise. i like the way Jehovah Witnesses walk door to door to spread their word ( i think that shows alot of devotion) infact i love alot about alot of religions. anybody who has soo much faith in what they believe in fact that they will do certain things everyday to prove it....

I agree that we should all increase in wisdom, stature and favor with God. It is my hope that all Chrisitans strive for the same.

However, belief is not necessarily about liking or not liking. I believe the truth. The truth is something that has evidence to support it. The bible has evidence to support it - archeological, manuscript accuracy and fulfilled prophecy. Other religious texts, while interesting in many ways, do not have this kind of authority behind them.

i'm Wiccan, and out of doors of my instant family contributors, my 3 suitable pals are an atheist, a Deacon interior the Episcopal Church, and a Jesuit Priest. We get alongside properly, and as quickly as we are all at the same time (besides to sounding like the lead in to a shaggy dog tale...A Wiccan, A Jesuit, An Episopalian and an Atheist walk right into a bar...) we rejoice with speaking philosophy. The relatively staggering ingredient is that we've very lots a similar perspectives on social matters and politics, even in spite of the incontrovertible fact that we come at them from significantly distinctive factors of view.

I like the philosophy of the B'Hais. They think that if they work towards total equality with no prejudice for all people that the kingdom of God on earth will happen. I think that's wonderful.

They also believe that can be achieved in their lifetime if they work hard enough. I think that's overly optomistic but more power to them.

FYI: I am Unitarian.

I like the fact that for some people their religious beliefs give them comfort and hope.

I'm an atheist and I don't have a problem with that.

Well, actually what i love about other religion is what they taught, e.g : Budha taught us about Karma, so we'll think twice or maybe more before we plan to harm someone...that's quite logical and simple way to explain lot of everyday's event... ^^

Parentally spoon fed religion is based on tribal outdated books. Which was some sort of a old science or those days cult tricks done by brainy humans. Those tribal days are gone. Churches are running out of people and they are targeting schools and third world countries. Also there are still dumb brainless/ backbone less religious idiots who keep chanting those stupid tribal book chapters for the fear of bad living style. like you. leave the dumb book and switch your TV to National Geographic channel, Discovery or Animal planet..history channel...Reality channel..or read a better book. Religion is dumb..god is a part of your brain.
