I have two dogs - a Bullmastiff and an American Bulldog. Both of which are just over a year old. The Bullmastiff has established himself as the 'Alpha Male', which I don't mind. However, the Bullmastiff licks the A. Bulldog's penis almost obsessively. I constantly have to tell him to stop (they are both boy dogs) The A. Bulldog doesn't seem to mind, but I do.
I know there are going to be a few ******* that find this to be funny and give crappy answers, but if there is anyone that could explain why he's doing this and what I can do to stop it, it would be greatly appreciated.

I had a dog that constantly licks and if the spray doesn't work the vet can prescribe something Valium to the dog to stop compulsive behaviors, Personally I'd stick a leash on him with a choke collar and when he starts licking yank on it on walk him away, this has worked for me in every obsessive behavior by taking them away from it, Maybe crate him sometimes too if company comes over.

try putting "bittter apple spray" on the one thats being licked... it will only take a couple times and if you get any on your hands wash thoroughly because its really bad tasting.... it works wonders!!! I have used the product and you can get it from pretty much any pet store.....good luck!! smile
not sure why they do it or why the one allows it but it can be stopped... I am sure its a bit embarrasing when you have company over....lol

I can't answer that but I can't figure out why my female English Bulldog wants to hump every mans leg, I know it is dominance not sexual but why only men?
