if you eat the same amount of calories that you burn, your weight will remain the same...there are formulas like the harry benedict formula which takes into acount your height weight age and gender and tells you how many calories you should eat daily if you want to lose, gain or keep your weight...very handy

If you burn the same # of calories as you eat you should not change your weight. However the type of calories has an effect. More fat calories require less energy to store so you gain weight easier, more proteing calories requires more metabolic activity so you store less as fat.

In order to lose wt. one must take in few calories than r "burnt". If one takes in 4000 calories (healthy calories not empty calories) and burns 4000 calories, they will maintain their wt. One must possess a calorie deficit to lose wt.

You would stay the same because energy in equals energy out.
To lose weight you need to create a deficit by burning a little more that you putting in.

Since you only burn up what you put in, your weight would remain the same.
