Stop playing with the dog when he bites you. Dogs hate it when you ignore them. Ignoring the dog when he bites you will teach him that he wont get any attention from you when he bites you. This works with a lot of negative behavior. Telling your dog "NO" or even hitting your dog is still giving it attention and dogs would rather get negative attention then none at all.

If hes just a puppy, he is playing, he doesnt know yet that you are the boss, and he isnt, but you should stop this behaviour before it goes any further. Next time he does it say NO, really low and deeply. If this is a grown dog... it has the chain of command all mixed up, and thinks it is the boss. Get to an obedience training club asap, what they will teach you will be invaluable.

Dog or puppy? If it is a puppy he needs to learn the word NO.
When he bites, smack the back of YOUR hand (not the dog) making sure you say NO in a stern low voice. Repeat as often as necessary until he gets what you mean.
