I`ve heard people say to soak in a hot bath, but I don`t have a bath- is there a thing I can put on, or in the shower to relieve the itch, and make me feel a little better? Also, I have spots on my scalp (under my hair) and my hair is oily and dandruffy, should I was my hair, or should I just wet it.

Use a lotion that contains oatmeal to sooth the itch. Wash your hair, but don't rub the scalp, just run the shampoo through your hair.

You poor thing! Try a long soak in the shower, and as soon as you get out lube yourself up with a rich cream like Eucerin or an oatmeal based lotion (Lubriderm makes a pretty good one) Hopefully that will help with the dryness...be sure to be gentle you want to avoid breaking the blisters. Drink lots of water with lemon. Lemon is a natural detoxifier-- C.P. is a virus so it's there until it's done but I always feel refreshed at least after lemon water. As for washing the hair you could try using a mild baby shampoo, like one for babies with eczema... it'll avoid drying you out. Hope you feel better!

I am surprised you got chix pox...i haven't known anyone to get chix pox for like 10 years....anyways sorry about the discomfort my mom always used Calamine (Spelling?) Lotion...it is pink..looks horrible but keeps the itching down and thus helps with the healing.

Don't scratch and when you get to be 60 (if you survive the chicken pox) get vaccinated against shingles. What ever you do. Stay as far away as you can form chickens ( you could wipe them out) and other poultry. Don't even eat an egg!!!!!!!!!!!

Chicken Pox sucks hardcore, but it doesn't last forever(thank god) if you're still in elementary school you should appreciate it, since you get to miss class, and they don't teach you anything there anyways.
