There isn't any official youngest age - but I wouldn't recommend having it before the age of 21 as your eyes are likely to change prescription until that age.
It is very safe - the procedure is brief and not very painful.
The best place is Ultralase in my opinion, they have the best success rate (99%). The other 1% still see a big improvement in eyesight, but may need glasses for driving or other activities. Any reputable place should be good - but it is the surgeon rather than the place that is important.
The procedure involves having the cornea (front of the eye) lasered from the inside to make it into an artificial contact lens, albeit one that you can't feel or remove. This corrects, rather than cures, the problem. The real problem of course is the shape of the eye, which cannot easily be changed.

The lower age limit for laser eye treatment is usually 21, when the eye has finished its normal growth, but they can treat from the age of 18, provided that the eyesight prescription has been stable for a minimum of 2 years. There is no upper age limit.

I had my eyes lased 2 1/2 years ago it is the best thing I have ever done however always make sure you do your research before going ahead - Oh and my best advise is rest and sleep lots afterwards you will get a much better result!

Don't think there is an age, i had my laser treatment done November 04, and I'm absolutely fine, had a problem with glaring lights at night, but that has gone away now.
I went to Optimax in b-ham, payed £1000 for both eyes, really do recommend them.

Would never go back to glasses, but do miss them made me look intelligent not that I'm not already!

laser eye treatement is very safe now a days..!

there is no age limit however..
docs usually recommend anytime after your eyesight has become somewhat constant..
and that usually happens around 21-22 yrs for people who have had glasses since they were young..!

as you haven't said which country you are in to suggest you a doc..
i think you should a reputed hospital or a eye care cneter for exact information.. they would be able to tell you who is really an expert in your town..

however if you are willing to come to France for the treatment i can help you for sure.. hehehe
just kidding!

take care dude..
i am sure it will work out without any problem!

might be worth asking your opticians opinion before you have any treatment, both my doctor and optican didn't recommend it as it's not known what the long term affects on the eyes are as laser treatment has only been around about 10 years. I now have contact lenses which i leave in throughout the week (even to sleep) which are fantastic. and if your optctian does agree with the procedure then he will be able to recommend a company for you to deal with.

There is an age limit of 85 :)
It is not particularly safe. The anterior chamber of the eye is not well served with blood vessels and it can take 5-10 years to heal up well enough to avoid trauma. Any trauma to they eye can cause it to burst.

Most people believe that once they are diagnosed with some vision problem and start wearing eye glasses or contact lenses to correct them, they will have to do so for life in order to see better. Those who want a permanent solution to improve eyesight typically resort to Lasik or other corrective eye surgeries. But you you can also improve your vision without surgery and can see perfectly well without using eyeglasses or contact lenses. You can check here to know how https://tr.im/8b6d1

It didn't work for me, my eyes quickly reverted to the original prescription. Initially Ultralase said they would redo the surgery but the Surgeon refused saying he didn't want to 'over correct'. I'm not the only person who had surgery at their clinic in St. Albans who is not happy with the result but they won't 'allow' negative comments on their feedback.
